Ben always dreamed of creating exciting productions that would thrill an audience. Now his dreams are a reality as the 2 Ring Circus quite literally takes flight. Groomed and trained in music theatre, he has spent the past few years combining aerial circus arts with theatre to create one of a kind, crowd pleasing productions. As an original co-creator and founder of Suspended Cirque (New York’s First Aerial Circus Theatre Company), he has been a key component in the successful production of 7 original shows that have been lauded by critics.

With a BFA in Musical Theatre from Shenandoah Conservatory, he has performed all over the world as an actor/singer/dancer/aerialist. He has worked in numerous regional theaters, national tours, world cruises, Off-Broadway, and Lincoln Center.

 

Favorite productions and roles include:  Seussical (The Cat In The Hat at CFRT), Godspell (Hoops at Arkansas Rep), The Little Mermaid (Chef Louis US at Arkansas Rep), The Ghosts of Versailles (Young Courtier/Acrobat at LA Opera), My Fair Lady w/ Kelsey Grammar and Brian Dennehy (Lincoln Center/NY Philharmonic), The Music Man w/ Shirley Jones and Patrick Cassidy (Bushnell Theatre), Untamed (Boston Center For The Arts), The Wizard Of Oz (Scarecrow), Disney’s Beauty & The Beast (Lumiere), Cats (Rum Tum Tugger) Oklahoma! (Will Parker), Arsenic & Old Lace (Mortimer Brewster), and the film version of The Producers.

Ben (along with creative partner Joshua Dean), staged and choreographed Chris March’s The Butt-Cracker Suite! A Trailer Park Ballet which played Off-Broadway and received 2 Drama Desk nominations including Best Unique Theatrical Experience. And most recently 2 Ring Circus has incorporated their special brand of theatrical circus storytelling into productions at LA Opera, Arkansas Rep, Syracuse Stage, the Fulton Theatre & Cape Fear Regional Theatre.
